Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Environment, Social and Governance Management. It covers the principles and standards of ESG management and its importance in corporate sustainability; the importance of environmental management, social management and governance management in ESG management; the environmental risks, social risks and governance risks and opportunities; and the environmental management standards, social management standards and governance management standards. During this interactive course, participants will learn the different reporting frameworks and standards; the root cause analysis of ESG reporting and disclosure issues; the ESG performance indicators; the different ESG auditing and assurance frameworks and standards; the stakeholder engagement, ESG strategy and implementation; and the different ESG management system certification frameworks and standards.
