This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Risk Management Specialist in accordance with ISO 31000:2018. It covers the principles and guidelines of risk management; the benefits of ISO 31000:2018; the fundamentals of risk management including risk identification, analysis, evaluation, key concepts and definitions; the risk assessment techniques, likelihood, consequences and risk assessment documentation; the risk treatment options and process; developing risk treatment plans; and the risk acceptance and communication. 

 

During this interactive course, participants will learn the risk processes, risk performance and risk management process; integrating risk management into organizational processes and risk-based decision making; the role of leadership and commitment in risk management; the steps for implementing risk management within an organization; overcoming common challenges in risk management implementation; the ISO 31000:2018 certification process; maintaining and improving ISO 31000:2018 certification; the roles and responsibilities of a risk management specialist; and the essential skills, competencies and continuous professional development.
