COURSE OVERVIEW

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. 

This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of ISO 31000 Certified Risk Management. It covers the importance and applicability of ISO 31000:2018; the basic concepts, principles and guidelines of risk management; the ISO 31000:2018 risk management framework; ISO 31000:2018 risk management process overview; the role of risk management in decision making; the ISO 31000:2018 risk management principles; detailing each principle and its implementation; the importance of the context in risk management; and establishing internal and external context. 

During this interactive course, participants will learn the design of the risk management framework including its role and responsibilities; the integration of risk management into an organization; implementing and adapting the framework; the communication and consultation within the framework; the risk identification techniques and best practices; the tools and techniques of risk analysis; the criteria and decision making of risk evaluation; the options, plan development and implementation of risk treatment; the techniques and best practices of risk monitoring and its key concepts and principles; and recording and reporting risk management through effective communication.
